Two women who wanted to make a difference started Lovely Boutique in April of 2008. Hallie and Emilie had a goal: open a mom-friendly boutique in their Arvada neighborhood, that offered an alternative to the overseas-made trend. They also wanted a store that embodied their sustainable living principles. Everything in the store is built using reused materials. They used NoVOC paint for the walls and wrap your newly purchased delights in 100% recycled tissue paper, complete with recycled bag. In fact, the store itself is a zero waste facility!

This isn’t just your average cutesy boutique with great clothes and accessories, oh no. Think “made in America,” fair trade, clothes that are ethically and ecologically produced, with good prices to boot. They carry socially conscious brands like LA Made, Friendsie, Stewart + Brown, C & C California, Joes Jeans, Toggary and Alternative Apparel.

Handmade jewelry and some baby items round out their always new and fresh collection of women’s clothing, that includes everything from scarves to jeans to dresses for every occasion. There’s truly something for everyone at Lovely Boutique, even people on a (gasp!) budget. Almost every item in the store is below $150!

The fun really heats up on Girls Nights. Bring in your own group of ten women or more for fun and fashion while earning store credit for yourself. (Wine and munchies are on the house.)
